The International Hip Hop Studies conference, held at the University of Cambridge in 2016 brought together scholars from across the globe to share their research on hip hop, grime and drill music cultures. Speakers included Jonzi D, H. Samy Alim, Griff Rollefson, Justin Williams, Eithne Quinn, Murray Forman and Tricia Rose.

The first two days of the event featured keynotes by Tricia Rose and Murray Forman and presentations by over 68 speakers over the course of four parrallel sessions.
