Richard Bramwell
Richard is Senior Lecturer in Media and Cultural Studies at Loughborough University. His research focusses on black British popular music and culture.
He is co-editor of The Cambridge Companion to Global Rap and author of UK Hip Hop Grime and the City.
Richard served as a member of the Arts and Humanities Research Council Peer Review College between 2022 - 2025.

Alex
de Lacey
Alex is Assistant Professor in Popular Music at the University of Goningen. His research is focused on performance in grime and hip-hop.
He is the author of Level Up: Live Performance and Creative Process in Grime Music and the co-editor of the Cambridge Companion to Global Rap.
Alex served on the editorial board of the International Association for the Study for Popular Music from 2022 - 2025

Niquelle
LaTouche
Niquelle is an artist-educator invested in community cohesion, equity and creative collaboration.
She has acted as a consultant for AQA's GCSE English Literature specification revision and facilitated two national CPD courses for secondary educators. She was also founder and Head of Academy Breakin’ Convention, the UK’s first Level 3 Qualification specific to Hip Hop Theatre for 16 - 19 year olds based in Sadler's Wells East.

Lambros Fatsis
Lambros is Senior Lecturer in Criminology at City St. Georges, University of London. His work has been published in numerous world-leading scholarly journals.
His book, Policing the Beats: Black Music, Racism and Criminal Injustice, explores the criminalisation of afro-diasporic music.
